Prometheus Operator CRDs

Chainguard's redistribution of the prometheus-operator-crds Helm chart, which installs the Custom Resource Definitions used by the Prometheus Operator (e.g. Prometheus, Alertmanager, ServiceMonitor, PodMonitor, PrometheusRule).

Prerequisites

Authentication is required to access this chart. First, authenticate with Chainguard and configure your environment:

chainctl auth login
chainctl auth configure-docker --pull-token --save
helm registry login cgr.dev

Installation

helm install prometheus-operator-crds oci://cgr.dev/ORGANIZATION/charts/prometheus-operator-crds \
  --namespace monitoring \
  --create-namespace \
  --wait

About This Chart

This chart ships only Custom Resource Definitions and no container images. It is intended to be installed ahead of (or alongside) the Prometheus Operator so the CRDs can be managed independently, which is useful for GitOps workflows.

This is a redistribution of the upstream prometheus-operator-crds Helm chart. All upstream configuration options and documentation apply.
