Chainguard's redistribution of the pvc-autoresizer Helm chart, pre-configured with hardened Chainguard Images.
pvc-autoresizer is a Kubernetes controller that automatically resizes PersistentVolumeClaim objects based on volume usage metrics collected from Prometheus or the Kubernetes metrics API.
Authentication is required to access this chart and its images. First, authenticate with Chainguard and configure your environment:
Create an image pull secret in the namespace where the chart will be installed:
The chart's PVC mutating webhook requires a TLS certificate. Either install cert-manager in the cluster beforehand (the bundled cert-manager subchart is not included in this redistribution), or let the chart generate a self-signed certificate with --set webhook.certificate.generate=true.
To read volume stats from the Kubernetes metrics API instead of Prometheus, set controller.args.useK8sMetricsApi=true.
This is a redistribution of the upstream pvc-autoresizer Helm chart. All upstream configuration options and documentation apply.
