Usage

certificates image can be used with the GitLab helm chart to deploy GitLab in Kubernetes. The one of the sub-charts of the GitLab helm chart, deploys the GitLab registry component where gitlab-base image can be used as init container.

Below is an example of how to deploy the helm chart, using the Chainguard certificates image for GitLab registry:

  helm upgrade --install gitlab gitlab/gitlab \
  --set global.certificates.image.repository=cgr.dev/chainguard-private/certificates \
  --set global.certificates.image.tag=latest
